About
Originally from Massachusetts, Dr. Kenneth Hoang has been a Southern Californian for most of his life. He completed his undergraduate studies at UCLA before receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Southern California University of Health Sciences with honors.
Before coming to the Grannis Chiropractic Clinic, Dr. Hoang completed internships at the Cal State Los Angeles and Cal State Fullerton Health Centers, and volunteered with several organizations including the Dream Center of Los Angeles, Substance Abuse Foundation of Long Beach, and AIDS Lifecycle.
Dr. Hoang received his Atlas Orthogonal training from Dr. Grannis, as well as the Sweat Institute, founded by the creator of the Atlas Orthogonal Chiropractic technique Dr. Roy Sweat. He also brings with him a strong interest in sports medicine, including injury rehabilitation and prevention, performance training and soft tissue treatments.
Dr. Hoang is trained in the Graston technique, Kinesio taping method, COX flexion-distraction technique, and myofascial release techniques.
In 2014, Dr. Hoang obtained the postgraduate designation of Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician (CCSP). This instruction is specific to physical fitness and the evaluation and treatment of injuries encountered in sports — along with emergency on field procedures. He is also working on becoming a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians (DACBSP), a designation held by less than 350 individuals internationally.
Dr. Hoang enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Susan, and working with OC's Special Spokes, their non-profit charity that provides adaptive tricycles to special needs children.
Dr. Kenneth Hoang currently practices out of the Grannis Chiropractic Clinic, where you will be referred if you would like and/or require chiropractic services.
